WOODWORKING
Woodworking has been a passion of mine since childhood. Growing up around woodworkers, I was fascinated by their craft. I began woodworking in 2018, drawn back to the hands-on making I had explored in architecture school.
My approach to woodworking stems from my broader design philosophy — timeless, simplified forms that often take inspiration from the material itself. The final piece is rarely what was first imagined; through tools and feasibility, the design evolves into something that couldn’t be fully drawn. Every step, every tool, teaches a lesson that refines the craft. These learnings carry into the next piece, creating a continuous loop of prototyping, testing, and reinvention.
For me, woodworking is more than design — it’s meditation, mindfulness, and the pursuit of physical craft.
